these are among my favorite photos.  ever.

in the Gorges du Verdon

We took a little boat/canoe trip in the Gorges.  It was beautiful and fun.  I took my film camera.  (taking an expensive digital on a canoe is a bit too scary, and I love the look of film, if you haven't noticed by now).

some photos of the boys swimming in the lake in Provence!

provence. on film.

When I started shooting film, back in February, I dreamed of photographs taken in France over the summer. I am French, I live in Massachusetts and have been blessed to be able to go back to France (and Wales) over the summer.

Some dear friends moved to Tokyo a year ago and we had planned on meeting up in France, and I thought Provence would be the perfect location to spend a week together.  So we met up, along with another couple from NYC.  It was wonderful.

I got my scans back from the Findlab just in time for the Film-Mama blog circle.
These were all from one roll of Ektar 100 with my 35mm vivitar. LOOOOVE Ektar. The colors are perfect for Provence.
Everyone needs to visit Provence once in their life time. I may want to retire there.
