horse riding

Remember when I went up to New Hampshire  (part1,  part 2 and part 3), I bought a new camera on the way up, my dream camera: a Pentax 645n.  Medium format.  The friendly guy who sold it to me left a roll of Velvia in it.  I had never used Velvia, it's a slide film and it means, you have to be very precise with your settings.   I didn't expect much, but when I got my scans back, I just LOVED the colors.
This is why I love film, so vibrant.

here are the photos.

The Perfect Tree

This week, we got our christmas tree.  I love to go to the farm and look for the perfect tree.  This year we got a skinnier tree than last year.  Cutting it proved harder this time, not sure why, maybe it was the saw.  The farm was a lovely place.

have a fabulous week-end

Out of focus. I don't care. it's one of those silly photos that only a mom loves.

snow in New Hampshire!

We went to the north of New Hampshire last week, and on the last day we got 6 inches of snow dumped on us!
We stayed on a farm with my friends, they had horses and cows.  it was wonderful.

I had some fun with my camera.  (pentax 645n | portra 400| home dev & scan)
