cold

I love the cold winter landscapes of upstate New York.

today

just a mix of photos that make me happy.

winter

it's cold but it's so beautiful!

this photo was taken with a vintage russian lens the Helios M44-2, I bought it for 30$ and love how the background/Out of focus area gives a painted effect!

Live Free or Die (part II).

some more photos from New Hampshire.

Photography has been such an eye opener for me.  Seeing beauty in everything and observing my surroundings.  things I wouldn't even have noticed before.

I enjoyed my new Hampshire visit so much, even if most days were gray and cold, and the trees had no leaves and everything looked barren.

combination of portra 400 and agfa vista on my vivitar 35 + helios 44-2 lens... thank you Josia that amazing little camera.  it's is getting a lot of love.

new hobby

sturbridge

A couple of nights ago I had  little walk around sturbridge.   Sturbridge is the lovely New England town that we now live in.

We have 100 antique shops :-)

These were shot with Agfa Vista, home developed & home scanned.

I hope to do this again soon and show you more, hopefully on a sunny day and not a dreary grey day ;-)

hope you enjoyed this little peek into my town!

fishing

The kids made their own fishing poles and went fishing with their friend. they didn't catch any fish, but we didn't have a lot of time either.  We must go back.

(I captured it on my 35mm with Fuji Superia and Agfa Vista.  Developed and scanned at home.)

window rambling

My kitchen windows are so old that I cannot open them.  Also it's impossible to get the storm windows out if you don't open the main window, which makes it impossible to clean. (okay, in Europe you have no idea what storm windows are, they are a second set of windows that you put on in the winter when you don't have double glazing, pretty useful when it's -20C).  I have never cleaned them since I moved in.

I am going to attempt opening them and cleaning them again this week.

I'll keep you posted.  I love my little cactuses on the window, and I do love old windows.

still life

my kids are getting tired of my camera.
