Creative...Creator...Create...

Creating is one of the best feelings EVER.
Most satisfying feeling.
I love creating. My kids love creating.
God loves creating, and created us to create... and be happy with what we create.
I hope to be a mom who gives room to her kids to create as much as possible.
It's one of the reasons i homeschool, i want my kids to have time to create.
Kids are always creating.
All kids are creative.
All kids are created in His image.

ReplyDeleteha ha ha - awesome. i started reading this post and thought, "wow. this is cool. reminds me of that video of Ken Robinson..." :) then i scrolled down and realized it was inspired by him!
ReplyDeletegreat post, lea. and thanks for passing the vid on. that presentation, along with all my experiences lately with a child who struggled in a classroom setting, totally rocked my understanding of what a "good" education is...and what intelligence really is.
one of my favorite quotes is from Albert Einstein:
"The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge, but imagination."
the last thing i wish to do is to stifle my children's natural learning process, or their God-breathed inclination to create and to appreciate beauty! thank God He never stops revealing things to us...even in the everyday "mundane" things of life, He cares for us.
