A good idea

by

Sandy received some money for his birthday.
I set out to town and took him to his favorite shop, he always dreamed of going in that shop and getting something. We used to have an apartment right above it. It's a shop with models of place/trains and everything a little boy can dream of.

Sandy got a nice glider model.  Seemed like a great idea.
Until we opened the package.

The instructions were a lot more complicated than Ikea furniture.

It took me at least three hours of very patient work, and I broke lots of little pieces.

Sandy was delighted and couldn't wait to put the stickers on it

and then the best part of all: Paint it

I decided that next time I set foot in that shop, Sandy will be 10 yrs old, and this is definitly a
father-son bonding activity.  I'll bake a cake with him.

I do like his painting.
