none of my kids have inherited my VERY curly hair.

When I was about 4 years old, I had very straight hair, and I had a friend in her 20's who had curly hair and I though she SO pretty, so I prayed to get curly hair.  Well guess what? my hair got gradually curlier and curlier.   When I was a teenager I often wished I hadn't prayed that prayer (none of my sisters have curly hair).

My girl would really like wavy hair ("not as curly as yours mommy", she's smart).
We had a go at making it curly without using heat, we used a head band and wrapped her hair around it and she slept on it, and woke up with these beautiful bouncy curls. SHE LOVES IT.
