Maine. Ogonquit, Wells, the Nubble and York.

I went skiing in Maine, and I couldn't help myself and stop on the cost on the way back. I wanted to see the port and the lighthouse and coastal house under all that snow. it was so pretty.
I had my first lobster roll. I am not a fan of seafood, but I LOOOOVE Lobster. You can;t really go to Maine and not eat Lobster, right?
I love a fisherman's port. I love lighthouses. I love boats. I love the sea side. I love fresh wind.
These photos are so pretty Léa! I've only seen Maine in the summertime but in the winter it looks very beautiful too, a totally different feel. Ogunquit was one of my favorite towns up there. Looks like you guys had a great time.
ReplyDeleteI would love to go in the summer, I've only been in the winter, which means, get out of the car snap a photo and run back into the car. I couldn't feel my fingers anymore!
DeleteOh my gosh!! And lobster rolls = :)
ReplyDeleteoh my, that lobster roll was good! Your mom and I ate way too much lobster in 2 days, and maybe you need to ask her about her hot chocolate on monday night ;-)
DeleteOh my gosh. And lobster rolls = :)
ReplyDeleteI've missed you while I was gone. I lovelovelove this post! Every single one of these pictures! They say exactly what New England should be to me. Those bright blue signs against all that charcoal gray and white? I love it. Neel and I celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary this year, and I just last night I started thinking, maybe we'll sneak away to Maine. You make it look so appealing... and I love seafood. Especially lobster rolls!
ReplyDeletethank you Lauren! I am (not very patiently) waiting for my scans from this trip ;-)
Deleteand congrats on 20 years and yes Maine sounds like an amazing little get away. I would love to do that with my husband!
