The Pink Bike

by

A long post, but I promise it's worth the read.

Thought I'd share a little story with you.  I think I have a "pink bike" on the way, so I want to share with you what a "pink bike" means to me.

Many many many years ago, when I first met Graham, I told him that God ALWAYS answered my prayers, my little girl prayers (simple faith prayers), while I was saying that, I remembered all the sudden one prayer that God hadn't answered. When I was around 7 or 8 I really,  really,  really wanted a pink bike. One like this except the one I wanted had a pink basket.

and I never got it.  Which made me really sad.  So I told Graham well, except the pink bike.

A few months before  this conversation I had bought some lottery tickets sold by little girls from the school nearby, they were raising money to go on a trip and I felt sorry for them...remembering how many times I went around house selling them when I was little.

The lottery results came in a week after  my conversation with Graham. The first miracle was that I still had my tickets remembered where they were and actually checked them. Only to discover I had won first price. First price was a bike. A week later i finally got around to sending my little neighbour to collect my price, and he came back with a PINK bike...too small for me...but nonetheless a PINK bike.
I cry every time I remember that story.  He loves me. He doesn't forget anything, and He answers your prayers.

I never used that pink bike, gave it to my little sister but the story has in my life more value than you can imagine.

Is there a pink bike waiting for you?

I think I have another "pink bike" on the way, I'll keep you updated. One I asked for exactly 7 years ago.

He cares about your pink bike. He loves you more than you think.

Blessings
