horse riding

Remember when I went up to New Hampshire (part1, part 2 and part 3), I bought a new camera on the way up, my dream camera: a Pentax 645n. Medium format. The friendly guy who sold it to me left a roll of Velvia in it. I had never used Velvia, it's a slide film and it means, you have to be very precise with your settings. I didn't expect much, but when I got my scans back, I just LOVED the colors.
This is why I love film, so vibrant.
here are the photos.
Fantastic pictures! I'm curious, how do you like the 645n?
ReplyDeleteHi Joakim, that you so much for stopping by! and yes I love my pentax 645n. I only have manual focus film cameras so the focus confirm is really nice :-)
DeleteI would love to get a hold of a 105mm (67) your pentadx 67 photos are so dreamy though, I am pretty sure that I will want to own one of those one day.
I love your website/blog and I had never heard about you editing program and started looking it up. It looked interesting, and I may look more into it.
hope you are having a great week-end in your corner of the world!

ReplyDeletethank you, Noa was so happy to go bareback, she couldn't believe it :-) she had the biggest smile ever. she just loves horse riding.
DeleteI feel like I start every comment with, "Oh Léa, these are stunning...!" So I'm, trying to say something different. But! Stunning! Such rich colors. The Pentax 645n is on my wishlist. I don't think I'll be getting it for Christmas, but someday soon, I hope. I love seeing what you can do with it. :)
ReplyDelete:-) you are so kind! I didn't think I would own the Pentax 645n so soon, but got a good deal on Craigslist!
