I think this shot is so stunningly beautiful that I have no words. It hits me in so many places, really. Desire is one... not in a creepy way! But in a relational way. Camera, film, shooting my son (he's become prickly about being my subject, but film has made that easier), New England falls and winters. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work.
Lauren, thank you! Your boys still seems cooperative. My 10 yr old refuses to be in any photos, you will not believe what I went through for the christmas trees photos, just so I could get him in there! a lot of my 365 friend in 2013 didn't even realize that I had 3 kids, they thought it was just my big girl and my little boy. I am thankful for Noa being a willing subject most of the time, she is very patient with me. Winter are great over here! I much prefer snow over rainy gloomy days (like today). xxx, Léa
that was supposed to say "your boy" and not "boys" unless you include your man, who seems to be pretty willing, wish my man were that willing, as you can tell, he is not ;-)
We definitely get rain and gloom here in Virginia. I'm hoping for more snow this winter. And yes, my husband is delightfully willing... I'm so grateful! And my son is, when the film camera is out. I think it's because I take so many fewer shots. And still, he's much less so than he used to be. That's the difference I note. We'll have to put our heads together to find some special trickery! ;)
