This week, we got our christmas tree. I love to go to the farm and look for the perfect tree. This year we got a skinnier tree than last year. Cutting it proved harder this time, not sure why, maybe it was the saw. The farm was a lovely place.

Oh, beautiful shots, Léa! (I won't even talk about how intrigued I am with home developing and scanning I am right now, okay?!) When we lived in Pennsylvania we used to cut down our own tree, but here in VA we have to buy precut. It's okay. Still a lovely experience. Same place every year, a lot that supports services for mentally challenged. Our tree is smaller too, and just this morning, after it's up and lit but without ornaments, we thought we might keep it that way. Is that okay??? ;)
ReplyDeleteAlso, thank you so much for your sweet, sweet comments on my blog. I so admire your work, and I just don't have words to tell you what your kind comments meant to me.
My favorite part of home developing is that you shoot a roll and develop it that day, and scan it a couple of hours later!!! Developing is easy peasy. And I never learned more about colors in LR than since I started scanning. Even here I feel that the second photo doesn't quite fit in with rest color wise. And sometimes I give up and make it a black and white! Ha ha ha. I can't wait for you to try and share what you learn :-)
